Disposable Sponge Wash Cloth

What Is that???

They are made of sponge and easy to work with.

I  simply use them in all I do - also in sewing and when I embroider.

In Applique, in Baby Boots, in Bibs, in Coasters, in the Hat, in the Filter Containers, in Oven Mitts, in Potholders with insulbrite, in Quilts/Patchworks, in Slippers, in Toweltoppers ect... ect.. -  simply use your imagination, the possibillities are endless.

It gives a hold on the hoop project, simply add it on top of the stabilizer and place a piece of fabric on top the wash cloth.  It will lift it up along with a tiny softness for what ever you do in your hoops.

The design/hoop project would look at bit 3 dimensional.

They are dry & they have no brand name only disposable sponge wash cloth, written in english on the packet.

See Photos below and please read this :

Anette,
Your Disposable Sponge Washcloth hint sounded great and hopefully someone on our list will know what they might be called in the US. I "google" it and all I got were pages and pages on disposable washcloths for babies , elderly and disabled . LOL!!! I don't think that is quite what you meant.

Hi Mary Lee

I am danish and live in Denmark and you are so right, they are used to wash up babies ect. but they have the perfect size to fit many

"in the hoop projects"  and quilts as they have the perfect thickness ect.

I hope that leeds you to try them out and be aware, they are vacumpacked, so only open up in one end as they will grow tremendously and you will have them all over if you donīt let them in the packet.

If you need more information just write me again.

Big Hugs, Anette

At us they come in three packetsize, one contains 50 pieces & 100 pieces, we can no longer buy the packets of 150.

The size is 19x19 centimeters and they are no diapers nor cotton, they are sponge and sytetic.

I always buy the biggest (cheaper) and be aware that the packets are very flat and as you open up, - they will grow tremendously so do not take them out of the packets as you will have them all over.

Only open up in one end !!

I sure hope I have inspired you to try these out and as for me .. I could never live with out them.

They are good for so many things and trust me only your imagination will stop you .. and if you use them to wash anything, they can be washed in the washing machine and be recycled a couple of times.

We buy them in Supermarkets, Baby Shops, Pharmacy ect. - so now go hunt them down at your place.

Happy Stitching and do have a lot of fun ;o)

Hugs, Anette in Denmark

PS: I buy them in Fakta, Rema 1000, Netto, Kvickly, Aldi, Schlecker, Bilka, Super Brugsen, Apoteket, Matas ........

yup in allmost any Supermarket here.
